I offer culturally appropriate counselling to people from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds. The counselling space I provide is safe and will make you feel comfortable and at ease with who you are.

Being a South African Indian/Australian and person of colour, I can appreciate how cultural norms and beliefs can influence and impact our lives. I understand and acknowledge that culture plays a pivotal role in the way we see ourselves, others and the world.

I also know that many people from CALD backgrounds often feel misunderstood, judged, excluded and discriminated against. This sometimes leaves people feelings unwelcomed, afraid and isolated, which results in poor mental health and deterioration in self-worth and self-confidence. Therefore, it is very important to find a therapist who embraces difference and diversity.

I not only embrace diversity but celebrate it because I strongly believe that we are all uniquely different and beautiful. Furthermore, I am passionate about creating a world where everyone belongs and feels safe.
